Our fresh spaghettoni are thicker than normal spaghetti for a more satisfying bite, and our paccheri (short pasta) made in the shape of a large tube and ribbed in order that our homemade sauces adhere to the pasta better for a satisfying full flavour.
Our homemade sauces include our organic tomato sauce, organic tofu ragu, seitan ragu and the classic “aglio e olio e pepperoncino” extra virgin olive oil, garlic and chilli flakes.

WHO IS THE VEGITALIANO
I am The Vegitaliano. I love vegan food and in particular Italian inspired vegan food.
My family and I have been vegan for over 12 years now. I started in the vegan foodbusiness over 8 years ago. I began by importing Italian inspired vegan foods from Italy. We were active in the Toronto Veg Fest, exhibiting there on a yearly basis.
We eventually opened the first ever Italian vegan restaurant and food emporium in Toronto called Bello Bio.
At Bello Bio I had the good fortune of training with an experienced Chef who worked at some of the most successful Italian restaurants in Toronto. We were fortunate enough that our chef had adopted a plant-based lifestyle and was looking for a vegan restaurant where he could use all of his experience as a chef trained in Italian cuisine and apply that to creating Italian inspired vegan food that was second to none. Bello Bio provided our chef with the vehicle to do just that.
I learned a great deal from our chef at Bello Bio and subsequently obtained my food handling Certification and began creating my own Italian inspired vegan food.
I began producing small batch Italian inspired vegan products that we have been selling to our service industry customers as well as to our private customers to this day.
I strive to create Italian food that has the texture & taste that conjure up memories of the family dinner table growing up and I am glad to say that at The Vegitaliano, we have accomplished this.
I want to share this food with everyone who loves Italian food & thought they could never experience that cutlet, meatball or tiramisu again because they have adopted a plant-based lifestyle or due to allergies & medical reasons cannot eat they way they have been any longer.
